WWE News: John Morrison Stars in New Funny or Die Video

Looks like John Morrison is at it again, as he tweeted the following Thursday afternoon.

This is the second video that he has done for the site, and it looks to be another hit.  The video can be found here and features Morrison as a street thug with an accent. Ultimately, the video is a mildly entertaining commercial for the new Irish Spring body wash. Even though it's a sponsored video, Morrison still managed to expand his repertoire and add yet another project to his resume.
In the end, Morrison is proving that there is life after wrestling and may prove to be one of the few that succeed outside of the ring. Since his departure, Morrison has been involved in several acting roles, launching a new fitness program and doing very limited in-ring appearances at indie shows.
Morrison's acting projects have allowed him to work with the likes of "Weird Al" Yankovic and Jessica Alba. Even with the little time Morrison has spent in ring, he still managed to land a world title at one of those events.
If Morrison keeps this up, he will likely not need to step back into a WWE ring, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Randy Orton Comments On If He Was Smoking Weed, Cena Wanting Him Fired, Time Off & More

Randy Orton was asked by a fan on Twitter this morning how home was treating him during his time off from WWE. Orton replied that he has been strength training with a trainer four times a week. Orton added that it feels good to be refreshed but he's ready to return.
Orton took more fan questions and confirmed that his punt kick was banned. He also joked that Brodus Clay is his dream opponent.
One fan asked Orton if it was true that he was smoking marijuana. Orton replied, "I can neither confirm, no deny."
Finally, another fan referenced a recent interview by Ken Doane where he claimed John Cena was trying to get Orton fired. Orton replied, "I've never seen reporters backstage. As for your 'news' sites. Look at them for entertainment, not actual backstage happenings"

WWE News: Goldberg Wants to Wrestle Brock Lesnar Again?

Former WCW/WWE superstar Bill Goldberg reportedly contacted Brock Lesnar about returning to WWE to work an angle with him. The report goes on to state that Lesnar "only has two major dates left on his current contract: Triple H at SummerSlam and whoever his WrestleMania XXIX opponent will be."
What do you think of this news?
I'd love to see Goldberg return, but not to work an angle with Lesnar.
For one thing, I'd save Lesnar's WrestleMania XXIX match for either The Undertaker or The Rock.
Also, Goldberg and Lesnar fought at WrestleMania XX in what many fans consider a disappointing match, so it's a bit hard for me to understand why Goldberg would want to return for the purpose of working with Lesnar. Does Goldberg think he and Lesnar could put on a better match?
Ultimately, if Goldberg were to return, it'd probably be pretty hard to put him in a solid angle.
Throughout his entire wrestling career, Goldberg had been booked as an unstoppable force. However, WWE likely can't afford to have Goldberg demolish its current roster. Would Goldberg accept a lesser role?
If Goldberg returns, I'd like to see him work with Ryback—who has been on the receiving end of "Goldberg" chants ever since his debut. However, I would only want Goldberg to work with Ryback as his manager, not as his foe.
Then again, does Ryback need a manager? It seems that Ryback just needs real food (a feud).
What do you think? Should Goldberg return to face Lesnar? Should Goldberg return at all? If he were to return, what would his role be?

New Stipulation Added to the WWE Championship Match at MITB (Spoiler)

During this past Monday’s edition of Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Daniel Bryan will once again challenge CM Punk for the WWE Championship on July 15 at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in Phoenix.
Even though having classic written all over it after their one-on-one encounter at Over the Limit in May, the WWE has added a new stipulation to the title match during the weekly SmackDown television taping yesterday evening.
what new stipulation was added to the likely final chapter of the Punk-Bryan rivalry this summer in the build up to SummerSlam this August.
It was announced at last night's WWE SmackDown taping in Evansville, Indiana that AJ Lee will be the special referee for the WWE Title match at Money in the Bank between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.
After her endless love affair between CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Kane (to a minor extent since the middle part of May), the addition of AJ as special guest referee should come as no shock to WWE fans who have seen this storyline play out over time.
Even though this is necessary to culminate the storyline before the build starts toward SummerSlam, the WWE should not have AJ be the one to decide the winner outside of counting the three or calling for the submission.
Whether it be for the WWE Championship or not, in a future feud between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, the creative team should let the two superstars wow the WWE Universe instead of taking the focus off their superior wrestling abilities with a weak storyline.
With AJ serving as special referee at Money in the Bank next month, do you think her addition into the WWE Title match will hurt the outcome following the two superstars who were put on clinics the past few weeks?

Huge news breaking for fans of The Undertaker and FCW,
The Undertaker will be a special guest at the FCW event on Wednesday, August 1st at The Dallas Bull in Tampa, Florida. To purchase tickets, call Tammy Williams at (727) 243-8293. Go to dallasbull.com for more information about the event.
I personally checked out the aforementioned website and "The Dead Man" is indeed being promoted for that appearance. The event is pretty affordable, with tickets starting at $15. For a mere $50 bucks you not only get a front row seat, but also a meet and greet with WWE legend—which to any fan is well worth it.
Keep in mind, barring an appearance at the 1,000th episode of Raw, this will mark Undertaker's first WWE show since WrestleMania 28. As we all know, The Undertaker's WWE appearances of late have been pretty much limited to WrestleMania due to his age and injuries.
So seeing him before WrestleMania 29 at such an intimate venue is bound to make these tickets a hot commodity. Even if you don't buy the meet and greet tickets, it should still be worth the trip if you live in the area.
Ultimately, the WWE could utilize the Undertaker to cut a promo or to do a quick run-in for a pop, which to me, is enough reason to go check it out.
In the end, I live nowhere near Florida, so I won't be able to partake. However, hopefully someone reading this does live near there and will seize the rare chance to meet an icon.

WWE Asks Federal Committee To Throw Out Inquirer Complaint

NECN.com is reporting that WWE has asked the Federal Elections Committee to throw out a complaint filed by The Journal Inquirer of Manchester.
The complaint accused WWE of illegally helping Linda McMahon's senate campaign when WWE filed a libel claim against the Inquirer for editorials suggesting that McMahon made her fortune in the "pornography and violence business." You can read more by clicking on the above link.
