One of the rising stars of the WWE is without a doubt Dolph Ziggler. Now that the storyline between him and Jack Swagger has faded, and with Vickie Guerrero heading a different direction after being the interim manager of Raw and SmackDown, it is time for the WWE to give Ziggler a face turn.
In my opinion, he is making all the right strides in and out of the ring in order to be a successful face. Fans love him, and he has improved his abilities in the ring.
The question is simply begging to be asked: Who would he have a feud with?
A few names come to mind, but I really think that he could have a great feud with John Cena. Cena is obviously the face of the WWE, but why not give him a shot at turning heel leading into SummerSlam? The idea behind Money in the Bank that Cena announced on Raw last week is going to be a huge disaster.
I don't understand why the WWE would decide to have a "former champions" only MITB match instead of promoting some of the young talent, but hopefully there is a new plan put into place for SummerSlam.
Another guy that would face up really well with Ziggler is CM Punk. The WWE Champion is more than likely going to continue his beef with Daniel Bryan, and will probably lose the title to him in the near future, so a change of plans for Punk is also imminent.
Finally, I think that Ziggler could be the guy to go after the Big Show. Show is arguably the biggest heel in the WWE right now and has been for quite some time. I think the public is getting a little tired of the same routine between him and Cena, and wants someone new to step up. Why not Ziggler?
Dolph Ziggler could very easily be the next big star, but in order for that to happen the creative team needs to find a way to make a face turn in his direction.
